Question about Paris district
Hello,
I was in Paris VERY briefly (maybe only a few hours) a few months ago, and I was in the part of Paris where the famous cemetary is–the one where Jim Morrison was supposedly buried. Could someone tell me the name of the district?

Hello to all,
I am new to this forum, and an I wondering if anyone who any experience dating a French person could help me with this one…
Okay, here goes. I went over to France to visit a guy who I was romantically interetsed in, and going over was an opportunity to see how it would blossom with him.
I get over there, and we do EVERYTHING with the exception of kissing. This one had me a little baffled. I had never experienced this with any other man before, and I was actually offeneded by this. I brought this up to him later on, and he seemed to be totally clueless. Is this just a preference for him as an individual or this cultural? It just seems like kissing should go hand in hand with….

one day to shop in Paris!!!
I’ll be spending one day in Paris this week. To be exact is Thursday. I want to do some shopping for woman’s clothings. Any idea any shop have sales on. I was in Paris 3 years ago. There was a big store name looks like "Samathra" I might spell it wrong. But I don’t know the exact address or even the name of street. Can you help me. I’ll be staying in the 5th district close to St. Michel station. Sorry, I don’t have too much time for you, I just find out this facinating forum!

too late to find gite in Loire?
My wife and I will be motoring through the Loire next week-
we want very much to stay in a small establishment (gite) experience small town French hospitality and cuisine. We have deliberately not not reserved a hotel for 3 nights in the hopes that we will find what we want in France- is this totally insane? If not, how does one proceed?

I want to be French
I know this sounds bizare, but I have always wanted to be French. I have studied the language for 8 years and I would consider myself fluent. Two years ago i lived in Paris for 6 months in the 7th district (I know! How perfect is that?) and that has deffinitely embedded my desire to live in France. I have recently graduated from school and I tried to get a visa to work in France. I have been very unsuccessful. Does anyone have any advice besides (1) getting married: I am too young to even fathom the idea (2) finding a US company that has offices in France: US company’s will only move people once they are very experienced. I am smart and I think very talented…PLEASE Help!
