Best area to visit?
Hey!
I’m planning a trip to mFrance (my 3rd one) and I’d like to know if anyone has a good idea of where I can spend a few days (3 or 4) out of the beaten path. I’ve been to Paris the rivera and the Loire Valley. I know there are a lot of areas of interest outside of these, so I’d like to have your feedback about then. Thanks!
Gregory
Finding current Family Members
We will be traveling to France in Nov 2004. Before our trip we would like to find members of our family. Any persons with the name of Bacquet or Lacque, my grandfather was born in Pas de calais his name was Joseph Bacquet. My grandmother was also born in Pas de Calais her name was Victoria Lacque. Please help me find relatives, my brother and I have a album dating back to the early 1800 with family pictures and letters, thank you Yvette
I want to find my friend !
Hi, I know that my story is crazy, but I want to find my friend, my best friend !
Beware of Paris Train to/from Airport
I just returned from a great first trip to Paris. However I had a terrible experience on the Airport train.
From the airport I witnessed someone getting on the train and then snatching a tourist’s purse as he got off at the next stop. Watch your stuff carefully. I didn’t see any more incidents on the local metro runs.
On the way back to the airport, my car was stormed by four conductors checking tickets. Most everyone had just a Paris metro ticket including my wife and I. And most everyone was written up a ticket for 20 Euros. Ignorance was no excuse and they had remote credit card machines to run your credit card. You need a ticket to leave the airport train station so why can’t it be purchased there?

Consolidator prices
This summer it looks like the prices for trips to Europe are at a all-time high. I’ve looked at many a "budget" airfare site, but I can’t seem to find reasonable prices.
I’d like to go from washington DC to Paris. Any idea where I can find the right ticket, at the right price?
