My husband and I will be in Paris from 9/Aug – 13/Aug. What are some of the must dos during this short stay? This will be our first time in France.
We enjoy museums, relaxing, eating, listening to music, shows, shopping.
Is a 3 day museum pass worth the money? What about a metro or transportation pass?
What about Disneyland Paris?
We are going to Angers for a wedding on the 13th. I can’t wait!
Thank you for your responses.
Hi Chocolate!
If you "enjoy museums, relaxing, eating, listening to music, shows, shopping", you’ll find out that 4 days in Paris will feel a little short! There is sooo much to see and do! In no particular order I’d say: visit the Louvre and the Tour Eiffel, the Orsay Museum, stroll along the "quais" visit the Luxembourg gardens, take a Seine cruise and a day visit to Versailles.
As for the museum and metro passes, they are worth the money, and mostly the time it will save you not having to wait in line to buy them. Have them delivered to your hotel, that’s the best way!
Finally disneyland… I guess it depends if you’re travelling with kids. But in general, I would advise against it, especially on such a short visit. You’re in France, see what French culture is all about! You’ll have plenty of time to go to the real Disneyland in Orlando, some other time. Right?
Have fun and let us know what you did and what you enjoyed!
E.
