Will be touring France next year & want to stay on the beach. Any recommendations? Will need to have nite life as well. What are the temps like between June – August? Have never been!

You have some time to plan, so that’s great.
If you look at a map of France, you’ll see that there are oceans and seas around France:
- the Mediterranean (South)
- the Atlantic Ocean (South West)
- the Channel (West)
- The North Sea (North coast)
Then you also have some islands: Corsica in the South, Ile de Re in the Western coast, for example.
So, choosing a beach is a difficult task. The most popular are the Riviera and Atlantic beaches, but they tend to be quite crowded during the summer.
I guess it all depends what you like to do. for example, if it’s surfing, then you’re pretty much limited to the Atlantic beaches, because the Mediterranean does not have enough waves.
Anyway there’s plenty to explore and to enjoy!
