We will be traveling to France in Nov 2004. Before our trip we would like to find members of our family. Any persons with the name of Bacquet or Lacque, my grandfather was born in Pas de calais his name was Joseph Bacquet. My grandmother was also born in Pas de Calais her name was Victoria Lacque. Please help me find relatives, my brother and I have a album dating back to the early 1800 with family pictures and letters, thank you Yvette

There are 2 tings you can do to find your long-lost family members:
One is to do is a genealogy search on a particular name. This may help you learn about your ancestors and close family members. One great site to start is http://www.cyndislist.com/france.htm
Second, if you want to find the people with your family name, and you know where they are located (in which city or department), you can find their address and phone number on a Yellow Pages server such as http://www.pagesjaunes.fr
