THE GOLF AND THE COURSES
- Golf de Terre Blanche – Le Riou
Four Seasons Resort Provence at Terre Blanche offers some of the best year-round golfing in Europe. Two courses wind through pine and oak-clad hills and valleys, providing golfers with sweeping views to neighbouring villages and the Southern Alps. Le Riou spans over 6,567 yards and lends itself to all levels of play. Sophisticated construction and irrigation techniques maintain the quality of the playing surface all year long. A David Leadbetter golf academy offers instruction and private lessons, while a covered driving range and the luxurious Golf Clubhouse round out the Four Seasons golf experience. The Pro Shop and driving range are open in the summer from 7:30 am to dusk and in the winter from 8:00 am to dusk. During winter months it is possible that morning tee times may be delayed to late morning due to frost. Please be informed that winter greens will be in place on some holes. The Nice-Côte d'Azur International Airport is France's second largest airport and offers direct flights to many destinations in the UK, Europe and the Middle East, including Amsterdam, Brussels, Copenhagen, Dubai, Frankfurt, London, Manchester, Paris, Rome, Stockholm and Zurich, as well as to New York City. Cannes-Mandelieu Airport is available for the exclusive use of private jets. Cannes is the closest port from the Resort for guests arriving by private yacht.
