I have many issues from australia trying to find comprehensive news sites with french news and current affairs.
This site used to have a news section but now its gone. Can anyone advise further?
Please dont suggest www.francedaily.com, or www.expatica.com..

You’re right. The news are no longer posted. These fell through the cracks with the new version, but we can certainly post them again. What type of news are you most interested in? You mention 2 other sites (pretty good ones by the way), what news don’t they provide that you are looking for?

This site has been turned into just another place to find hotel rooms.
What a SHAME ! I used to love to listen to the French radio shows and watch the Channel two news. What HAPPENED??? The last thing we need is another site for hotel rooms and tours. The old site was about FRANCE ! HELP!!!! Please bring back the tv news and the radio
channel.

Point well taken about not becoming yet another hotel and tour booking site!
In the past 2 months we’ve been hard at work migrating all what we had on the older version to the new site. We started with the hotels part. Now we are going to develop the "content" part, as they say in the media business!
What we have built with the new version is a site that will be able to display a lot more information in an easier way. We have started getting new and exclusive articles, something we had never done before!
If you thought that the old site was About France, we’re asking for a few months to be able to show how much more this new version will be… a site about France.
I’m sorry you did not like the focus we put on the hotels section of the site. I promise we’ll bring a lot more soon, and in fact, continuously for some time in the future.
Hope you stick around. Feel free to share your thoughts! It *is* a shame not to listen to what your users want. And believe me, we’re listening
