I am new to this forum, and an I wondering if anyone who any experience dating a French person could help me with this one…
Okay, here goes. I went over to France to visit a guy who I was romantically interetsed in, and going over was an opportunity to see how it would blossom with him.
I get over there, and we do EVERYTHING with the exception of kissing. This one had me a little baffled. I had never experienced this with any other man before, and I was actually offeneded by this. I brought this up to him later on, and he seemed to be totally clueless. Is this just a preference for him as an individual or this cultural? It just seems like kissing should go hand in hand with….

That’s really a strange one! I would definitely consider this to be a personnal thing. They don’t call it French kissing for nothing!
I wonder how it is even possible to do "Everything" without kissing. It does have me baffled to, to tell you the truth. How can you be romantically involved and not kiss?

This is definetely a personal thing with your male french friend. My wife is from france and they definetely love to kiss over there. They consider it a sign of love and consider rude if you do not kiss your partner. In fact to most in france, if you kiss a guy or girl that in fact is the same as saying he or she is your boyfriend/girlfriend.
Next time you see him try kissing him first…….You can know alot about someone by the way they kiss
