Simmie, Wish I could answer your question. I was hoping France.com people would pick up on it. Since you haven’t gotten an answer, you might try the Fodors Travel Forum. It is very active and the posters are very good. Post your question with a subject of "Transportation from Metz to LaRochelle" so the right people see it. When you check back for an answer, click on your screen name (e.g. Simmie) and it will bring up your post. There are so many posts that they get lost very quickly.
