The Gault Millau says:
Discretion, efficiency, and friendly courtesy are the Plaza’s trademarks. The accommodations are bright, generous in size, and fitted with every amenity. The rooms overlooking Avenue Montaigne are perfectly soundproffed. At about 11 am guests gather in the Plaza-Bar Anglais (where Mata Hari was arrested); and from 4pm to 7pm, you’ll see them in the gallery (of whiche Marlene Dietrich was particularly fond). The régence restaurant is located across the patio, where tables are set in the summer among cascades of geraniums and ampelopsis vines.
