chateaux de noirieux is a beautiful place in a equally beautiful setting. it is a good base for touring the western loire. we stayed for three nights and became a bit bored with the resturant. there are no nearby resturant options. over all we enjoyed our visit and would return.

A wonderful chateau with a great staff. Couldn't do more to make our stay comfortable. Outstanding continental breakfasts and great dinners, too. Room was not very large but it was comfortable with a firm bed. All the extras made it the best place we stayed in during our seven week trip.

Our stay at the Chateaux de Noirieux was a highlight of our trip to France. It is definitely at the top of our list as a place we would be delighted to visit again. We were taken with the lovely grounds, the pool and the chapel. Our accommodations were on the third floor of the chateau, and while it was not a "superior" room, we loved its charm and elegant touches, such as the Frette bathrobes. We dined at the chateau and our meal there was heaven, looking out at the wonderful view across the valley. The staff and service there was perfect--not overbearing, but always there to help. We arrived at the chateau after a long car trip, but it was certainly worth the trip. It is a place we will highly recommend to friends.
