Beautiful hotel in a great location. Wonderful rooms and a helpful, friendly staff. Incredible value for the ambiance. Only negative may be access. Hotel area is blocked from car access between 11:00 to 18:00 hours each day. Did not affect us, since we arrived after 18:00 and left the next day before 11:00, but most people would like advance notice and know what to do when steets are blocked from vehicular traffic prior to arrival. Otherwise perfect !!!!

The hotel staff were wonderful, and my "good" rating is attributed to the aloof, neglectful waiter that we had for our dinner reservation at the hotel restaurant. Service from him was poor at best!

This hotel was the Best during our 11 day France adventure. The location in the center Of St. Emilion was the best possible - in the heart of the town and on the top of the hill overlooking the entire region. Staff courtesy and Quality of food and beverage were also great. we will return to this hotel.
